A windy morning so I decided to head to Rocky Pool, 55km inland east of Carnarvon, hoping to put the drone up over the freshwater pool. Success! Such a picturesque setting. Beautiful ghost gums line the waterline and I love the ribbon tributary lines of the Gascoyne River further downstream.
75 kms north west of Carnarvon, the Blowholes….powerful ocean swells force water through sea caves and up narrow holes in the rocks, jets of water erupt into the air, sometimes up to a height of 20 metres, creating a spectacular sight. Wind was powerful too, so just iphone pics today.
