The ear splitting fire alarm in the House went off tonight (twice). We checked throughout to see if a fire had started and couldn’t smell smoke….but decided to put the emergency plan into action nevertheless….grabbed our important documents/devices and went outside to wait for the fire brigade – taking refreshments to keep us hydrated. 

The first crew soon arrived; investigated (no fire) and reset the alarm.  And left.  Then, the alarm went off a second time……new crew arrived, followed closely by the emergency response from the plumber (mini approaching hurriedly down the driveway)…an issue of the kitchen sinks being blocked. 

What an end to the day…..alarm reset for the second time….plumber to return the following day to finalise the repair to the sink. We all went to bed.
