Visited Trio on Bondi Beach for brekky. One of the yummiest Eggs Benedict with crispy bacon I have tasted! Good fuel for the lovely walk I did from Bondi to Bronte along the cliff top, checking out the “Sculptures by the Sea” exhibition.
The spectacular Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk has been transformed into a 2km long temporary sculpture park featuring over 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world. This is one of the largest, ‘free to the public’, events in the world. My favourites: the Wanderer; Glamorama; comeanavadrink and waddyalookinat; breaching; look who 2014 ( beetle); Babies 3 pieces; House of mirrors.
Love the surfers at Tamarama by the way, taking such risks with their lives so close to the cliff edge! Mad!
Next, lunch with my lovely Sydney living friend Carla…@ Icebergs Dining Room,
overlooking Bondi Beach http://idrb.com/dining-room/…
Seriously gorgeous vista!! And then catching up with her family at the Wilkins Public School concert, grades 2-6, where the very talented Reuben and Oscar performed and other younger son Connor and hubby Antony, watched. Such a fun night for us in the audience…kids displaying nerves, boredom, excitement on stage. A great night.
